London Attractions for Second-Time Visitors

London is one of the most famous cities of the world. Its known for its fast-paced life, career opportunities, nightlife, restaurants, shopping, and so much more! The city is known for its eccentric mix between historical buildings and modern ones.

If you’ve already visited the big city once before, chances are, you have already seen the most popular tourist sites. This time around, it’s time to visit some more places for the first time.

Here’s a list of London Attractions for second-time visitors:

Broadway Market

This market is also known as Hackney Market. It’s one of the oldest trading streets in the city. Open only on Saturdays, this market is located between Regent’s Canal and London Fields. This market sells vintage clothes, handmade things, home-baked goodies, and much more. You’ll be serenaded by the live singers there, standing at the corner. Don’t forget to tip them!

Regent’s Park

Have you ever seen lily-ponds? Like the ones in cartoons? Regent’s Park has lily-ponds just like those. The park is also known for its rose gardens and wooden footbridges. It’s a beautiful park and a joy to be in during the summer. Plan a small picnic at this park when visiting. Get some easy-to-eat snacks like sandwiches, juices or just get some old-school fish and chips from the street.

Even if you’re visiting in winter, this park is great. It’s also home to the London Zoo. Primrose Hill also gives visitors a view of the city. This park is known for its various music events too.

Shakespeare’s Globe

The Shakespeare’s Globe is one of the coolest playhouses in the world. Located in the middle of the Thames’ South Bank, this playhouse was built in the late 1500s by the Shakespeare’s Playing Company. The playhouse is the closest you can get to the books. The open-air stage, goat-hair walls, and other features give it that vintage vibe that adds to the whole experience.

Little Venice

Many major cities of the world have a “Little Italy” or “Little Venice” but none compare to the authenticity the London version possesses. While the other cities offering such places focus on food, Little Venice is known for its tree-lined canals, boats, and general ambiance. The boats head to Camden Loc and you will see many canal side pubs offering locally sourced ale.

West End

The west end shows are a must-watch when you go to London.  Les Miserables, the Phantom Of The Opera, and The Lion King are examples of some of the shows performed at this theatre. You can easily buy your tickets online for any show. To get the best value for money, visit the TKTS booth in Leicester Square, it’s known to have on-the-day discounted tickets.
